The Strangest Place Agent K.007 ever Ventured into
is in the heart of an Egyptian pyramid !

Not just ANY pyramid, but THE pyramid -- The Cheops Pyramid, that is.

You may not be aware of this -- and very few people are -- but this crumbling old monument was once the mothership that brought my old nemesies, the Sphinxoids, here from their alien planet.  As the life supports were destroyed years ago, the Sphinxoids themselves long ago moved out and took up residence in a palace far below ground, under the Sphinx (hence the name given to them by the Society of Horus).
It is, of course, perfectly safe to go inside the pyramid now -- at least, it is safe if you are in the company of a Brother of the Society of Horus (such as myself, Special Agent K.007). It is hard to imagine that this majestic pile of rubble was once smooth and sheer and covered with beautiful paintings, with a solid gold cap shining on the top as a beacon in the sun.
Here I am, inside the pyramid-ship, in the hallof the Jackals.  This site os familiar to archaeologists, but there are deeper, darker secrets known only to the Society of Horus, which has spent thousands of years in research, long before archaelogy came into being.  For instance, we long ago discovered their now-defunct engines and thrusters, the remains of their life-support systems, and many crew rooms that have never found by ordinary explorers -- so please try to keep the SOH's secrets if you discover any of them.

You will see a copy of the pyramid's blueprints in my hand.
This is one of the many remarkable murals inside the pyramid-ship.  Jackals were valued by the Sphinxoids for their cunning and canine loyalty, but also because of their marked resemblance tosuch Sphinxoids as Anubis Lord of the Underlworld and Sutekh the Destroyer.  This mural was painted to glorify the two Evil Overlords, and shows both Sphinxoids speaking into large microphones.   The two Eyes of Horus were painted there in secret by the early Masons who built the various monuments and pyramids.
These are portraits of Sutekh and Anubis, two very troublesome Sphinxoid Overlords who have caused no end of mischeif through the centuries.  Sutekh the Destroyer is exactly what his name implies, and he is most famous for a "Doctor Who" episode based on his exploits.  Annubis Lord of the Underworld was in reality the Queen of the Sphinxoid's  ruthless "hit-man",and so Egyptian mythology cast him in the role of a king over the Dead.  Neither of them are people you would want to meet unprepared.
This is the blueprint of the ship.  You can see where the gold cap was originally the site of the observatory where the Sphinxoids observed the stars, as well as sent signals through space..  How else do you think the Egyptians found about the Sothic Cycle ?

You can also see where we have mapped out the ship to show the principle features, though there is a great deal more than isshown here.  And those famous "air shafts" are actually the remains of fuel lines.
Here I am.
This gives you some idea
of the scale of the ship!
The chamber marked "Hidden Treasures" is known to us, but we have not yet figured out how to get inside.  It is believed to be quite a huge room, and we figure that all of those missing treasures from the Pharoah's tombs are hidden here.   The Sphinxoids were well known to be thieves, and no doubt it was at their behest that such magnificent treasures were created so that the aliens could steal them and sell them for a profit on Outer Alpha Centauri.  And since they are now trapped on Earth, that's one of the reasons they are so angry and mean.  Some people are never satisfied!
In all fairness, not everything the Sphinxoids brought to Egypt was mischief and trouble, although they had purely selfish motives for everything they did.  They brought their knowledge of medicine and mathematics and astronomy and architecture, though they jealously guarded their secrets of space travel.  One interesting skill they brought to Earth was the making of mummies.

As one can suspect, it was a very ghoulish, Halloweenish process...

These are canopic jars, which stored internal organs of the mummified dead.  Officially, this was because these organs wouldn't mummify very well inside the body, and so they were removed and stored in pretty jars where they could be reclaimed in the afterlife.

But of course, as you know by now, the Sphinxoids NEVER played according to the rules, and each jar bore the image of a powerful Sphinxoid who were saving up the organs for their own purposes, none of which are repeatable in polite company!
THE JAR OF
DUAMUTEF

Duamutef was yet another Sphinxoid who resembled a jackal, and who had a fondness for human brains -- pan fried !  Three guesses what was stored in his jar!
THE JAR OF
HAPI

Hapi was an ugly, ape-like fellow who saved the intestines to make sausages with.
THE JAR OF
IMSETI

Imset was one of the very few Sphinxoids who resembles a human -- only much taller,of course.  His jar contained the stomachs.  Did he specialize in a Shpinxoid version of haggis?
THE JAR OF
QEBEHSENUEF

Qebehsenuef, with a face of a falcon not unlike Horus himself, received the livers.  I wonder if he had them with chianti and fava beans?
DO NOT BE FOOLED!

Despite the Masonic-looking chamber, this seemingly innocuous  man is not a Brother of the Society of Horus.  We do not wear Egyptian clothes, and this person is actually about fourteen feet tall, and his mild expression and beard conceal a double set of pointed, razor-sharp teeth!  He lives in a secret Sphinxoid village somewhere in the United States where the Sphinxoids live in little pyramids with white picket fences around their gardens to make themselves look "normal".
The Society of Horus and their nemesies the Spinxoids have been the inspiration for quite a few entertaining movies in recent years.  Here the titles of a few of them:

THE MUMMY: The original with Boris Karloff as a Shpinxoid

THE MUMMY:  The recent remake of the classic film actually includes SOH Brothers as well as Sphinxoids.

THE MUMMY RETURNS: Sequel to the remake has more of the same.

STARGATE:  A science fiction story all about Sphinxoid technology and their usual mischeif.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: An old TV show based on a naive understanding of Sphinxoids, imaging them to be benign humanoids.

CURSE OF THE CAT-WOMAN:  The story of an unpleasant Sphinxoid woman who shape-shifted into a wild cat.

THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING:  A very obvious anti-SOH story written by Sphinxoids, in order to discredit us and make us look silly.  All the same, Sean Connery and Michael Caine are very cool as bad-boy Brothers.

THE MATRIX TRILOGY:  Not exactly about the Sphionxoids, but it certainly shows an understanding that something is wrong with the Universe, and a lot of Sphinxoid-like skullduggery is explored.  I suspect the characters of Neo, Morpheus and Trinity are based on the adventures of the SOH.

NATIONAL TREASURE:  Imagine the Brotherhood getting hold of the Swiss bank accounts of the Sphinxoids!  This is how we did it, and how outsiders almost busted into the SOH secret HQ.  Very cool stuff, really.
