Old Lightbulb-Eyes
Dudley Moore, I presume?
There have been many beautiful, striking and poigniant portraits of Mozart created over the past two-and-a-half centuries.  These are not among them!  What they are, however, is funny, creative, and deliciously entertaining.
TOOT !
Hello, Wolfi --
party on!
This one proves that Mozart was a real Party Animal, after all.
This goes to prove that Michaelangelo wasn't the only sculptor who left unfinished work.  Although, like the famous Lange painting, any unfinished portrait of Mozart speaks volumes to us.
Dear me, I am SOOOOO embarassed!
I just KNEW I shouldn't have eaten  that last Mozartkugel.
You'd feel this way, too, if you'd had all your Mozartkugeln eaten by Sphinxoids !
Mozart as he might
have looked in middle age.
To my knowledge, this is the only painting anyone has ever done to immortalize this less-than-dignified moment.

These are but many of a number of parodies of the great Mozart portraits...
...and these were obviously inspired by "Amadeus".
... this one was drawn by no less than Mozart himself!  (the arms, according to the artist, belong to Constanze,
who is waiting at home for him.)

This bust is so ugly, I'm not even sure that it is Mozart!
I Ain't got nobody...
Come to think of it, I'm not sure this is, either!

Translaion: "What a prodigy!"
This cute little cartoon on the left was drawn in France, back in 1991 when anything "Mozart" was all the rage...
...and this one, drawn around the same time, for the same reasons, came from Japan...
(Merci bien, Emmanuelle!)
"Mon Tres Cher Papa,
Last night I had this awful dream that
I woke up and had turned into Beethoven
in a loud pink suit..."

Pink wig and all...
... and THIS is the famous "Naked Mozart" statue that most people believed did not exist at all!  But her he is, in the halls of the Mozarteum itself (Thanks, Wim!)

This is an interesting and unusually atractive piece, painted by someone who I suspect took it TOO literally that Mozart was a little bit like boh Tamino and Papageno combined.
Why do I almost get the feeling that this Mozart is actually Jerry Seinfeld in a costume?
